Coffee Coffee Coffee

Today it rained. A lot. But it was also my first day at the high school. It was very exciting and underwhelming at the same time. At Sitka High School(go wolves!) I am running the tutoring program and credit recovery for the kids at the high school. This means that on day one of work I was greeted with an empty classroom that definitely needed some Pinterest projects added to the white walls. But this also means that I get to set up a whole classroom! I really just moved the desks around and made sure that everything was clean today. I will craft at home. It is really quiet at the school, but the teacher meetings are kind of entertaining. They all keep asking me for my opinion since I am closest in age to the kids in the high school. I also happen to be the same height as these kids. For coffee today I was on a hunt for the best, cheap coffee and found this cute place by the fire department that is eco friendly and coffee is only $1.50. #whatasteal They also have reusable straws which also makes Highliner Coffee ten times better. Highliner also as wifi so I can get work done here! It was also my first night at the pool where I am life guarding for a side job for some extra money. It will definitely be interesting life guarding in SItka, tonight I am watching the US Coast Guard do their swim exams. Lets hope they all go well. Overall today was productive and I found the best coffee place on the Island. So if you call Highliner coffee house, I will definitely be there.
